Hejbrolme is a comic artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, where his practice focused on drawing, painting, 2D animation, and diary-based sequential works. Today, he is a member of the Danish Comic Council (Dansk Tegneserieråd), contributes to the independent publishing scene through his work with Bladr (collective space for artists’ books in Copenhagen), and works as a volunteer in the planning of the Copenhagen Comics festival. This year, he launched a small press, Skade Press. dedicated to publishing his own comics and graphic narratives. His background bridges formal Fine Art discipline with a passion for DIY comic culture – through a dip in the world of corporate Tech – providing the foundation for his current satirical and character-driven work.
